Q. How do the speakers should connect to my receiver/amplifier?
A. A speaker has impedance: 2ohm, 4ohm, 6ohm, 8ohm, or more.
Less impedance is more current and more power needs from the receiver/amplifier.
You will connect your speaker to the receiver/amplifier properly if the impedance of the speaker has more value than output of your receiver/amplifier. For instance: Speaker is 8ohm, amplifier output is 4ohm, that is correct connection. If not like above your receiver/amplifier will be blew out.
