Q. HTML and HTM IE icons disappeared. How to get IE icons back?
A. Go to Windows Explore ->Tools -> Folder Options... -> File Types -> Click 'New' button -> File Extension: type 'HTML' -> Click 'Advanced>>' button ->Select 'HTML Document' -> OK. From 'File Types' tab select HTML file extension -> Click 'Change' button to select 'Opens with Internet Explorer' -> Next click 'Advanced' button -> Click 'Change Icon...' -> Click 'Browse...' button ->Navigate to 'Program Files -> Internet Explorer -> iexplore.exe -> Choose IE icon ->OK. Done. The same procedure for HTM icon.
